I worked on this project with a creative team, who provided me with their mood boards, which were a nod to a classic Alexandra Taylor's art direction for Army. Based on them I created this art direction for the entire campaign, designed each of the posters, which I also artworked for press ads and also designed flats for digital display ads.


I wanted these posters to have a grungy, rough and weathered look.


CREATIVE IDEA: To show the role of The British Army in peace-keeping, humanitarian aid and disaster relief we sent legendary, award-winning reportage photographers Ron Haviv and Ed Kashi back to historic conflict, casualty and disaster zones around the world. Their brief this time: to capture not the heartaches and disasters of war, but instead to see the positive progress made since; progress made possible by the work of the British Army in helping to restore Normal Days around the world.
